Winter Wonderland

Well, this is my first attempt at blogging and I am pretty excited about the prospects of staying close to friends and family.

Today we awoke to a winter wonderland, and I still attest that the first snow of the year is the best day! Brayden was quite excited. He wore his snow boots to church, and when we got out of the car, instead of walking on the sidewalk, he put those boots to work and tromped through the snow to the door. After church he just couldn't resist and while the rest of us were putting on our jackets he headed out to the field of snow. Not 5 minutes later he came back in crying because his hands were cold. When I explained that the snow was cold and he needed gloves to play in it, he looked at me and asked quite seriously, "Mom, why didn't you put gloves on my hands?" I fear it is going to be difficult to keep him indoors this winter. Looks like mom may have to invest in some snow pants herself.

On an even funnier note. Ryan was telling Brayden that we are having some company over tonight and as they walked into his room Brayden looked at the clothes on his floor and says, "This is embarrassing!" I guess we'll have to do a bit of cleaning before our guests arrive!!

Hey Kelsey, so fun that you have a blog now. Our blog is nicolayfamily.blogspot.com you'll have to check it out. I see your parents every now and again, since they work at the temple. You'll have to put some pictures on your blog so we can see you little ones. They sound hilarious. Keep the stories coming. Love ya, Angie (Stoker) Nicolay.
